The Spirit II is like a Swiss Army knife in that it does everything. As efficient as a long hulled canoe and as manoeuverable as a short one, the Spirit II strikes a balance between all good things. Roomy enough for multi-day trips, it is even more stable when loaded.
Canoe & Kayak Magazine (USA) siad, "If you could only have one canoe to serve all your needs for the rest of your life, the SpiritII would be one of the few candidates." Maybe that is why Wenonah sell more Spirit II's than any other model.
If a great general touring canoe is what you need but this boat is a little too big, we recommend that you look at the Aurora; a foot shorter it is a downsized Spirit II.
Please note that the pictures are of a kevlar Spirit II with bucket seats. Royalex canoes come with wood web seats as standard. Wood web seats in kevlar canoes are a no cost option.
