Purchasing products from this site is governed by the following terms and conditions. By accessing the site, you agree to be bound by them. Please read them carefully as they contain details of current regulations governing online shopping. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. We reserve the right to change, without notice, any information on this site.

Please take a look through the Website. When you see something that you wish to buy just add it to your basket. When you have finished click on "Checkout". You will then be asked for your details so that we can send the goods to you.
If an item is out of stock you can stll place your order and we will order the item in for you from our supplier. We will email or call you with this option, having told you when we can fulfil it, to wait for delivery or to cancel your order. If we do not get an email from you to cancel the order, we will assume that you are happy to wait for delivery.
If you cannot find the item you want, please email email@example.com or or call 01454 261058 and we will endeavor to source it for you and inform you of an estimated delivery time.
All prices are clearly displayed on the website. All prices are inclusive of VAT, as applicable, at the prevailing rate. The price of the item does not include the delivery charge which will be charged at the rates applicable at the date you place your order, obviously for larger items such as paddles or kayaks this price is going to be more than your standard postage charge of £4.95.
All special offer prices are subject to availability and at the discretion of Canoe and Kayak Store. We reserve the right to withdraw the sale of a product at any time.
Promotions and promotional prices are temporary and can be withdrawn at any time at our discretion.
We accept payment in Sterling by credit/debit card or PayPal. The only cards that we do not accept are American Express and Diners Club. Credit card payments are processed by SagePay and the item must be delivered to your home address if you are not present in the store when making a payment by card.
All orders are charged to your card on completion of the checkout process. We cannot accept responsibility for an order being held back as a result of incorrect or invalid payment details being given.
When setting up your account, the address given must be the one at which your card is registered. We also request a landline telephone number to be used in case of a query with your order.
When you give us your card details it is through a secure webpage headed "https". These details are not held on our computers and not shared with anyone else. No charges will be made to your card other than for the goods that you have ordered and at the prices at the time of ordering.
If there is a problem with your payment we will email or call you as soon as we can.

Cancelling your order.
In accordance with the Distance Selling Directive (2000) you may cancel your order at any time, without reason, within 7 days of delivery. You may cancel your order provided:
the goods remain unused and component parts are unopened;
you or the recipient retain and take reasonable care of the goods until returned;
you return packaged items to us.
Please be aware that you will be responsible for any postage/carrier costs incurred in sending the goods back to us. We recommend that items being returned be sent via insured, trackable delivery for your protection.
On receipt of the goods, Canoe and Kayak Store will give you a full refund of the amount paid (less the delivery charge) or a credit as required. Refunds can only be credited back to the original card that the goods were bought with.
Canoe and Kayak Store can arrange for delivery of replacement products to you if required. This constitutes a separate contract between you and Canoe and Kayak Store. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Refunds and Exchanges
In the event that your purchase is not suitable, you have the right to return it to us. The item must be unused, undamaged and with original labels and packaging. You must notify us within 14 days by post, email or telephone of your intention to do this. Please note that you are responsible for any return postage.
Where you are requiring an exchange we may make a £4 charge to cover the costs of sending the replacement. Large items such as kayaks and paddles may incur a higher charge that will be agreed with you. Payment for this must be provided before we send out the replacement item. This charge does not apply if you collect the replacement goods from Canoe and kayak Store.
For international orders the charge will vary depending on the current cost of delivery to that country. For an accurate price please contact us before returning the item.
In the case of warranty returns this charge will be waived as long as the returned goods are clean and free from dirt to comply with current Health and Safety Regulations.
DVDs and books are not returnable unless defective.
All of the above does not affect your statutory rights.
Delivery is free for all orders to mainland UK totaling over £50 (some exclusions apply).
Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Highlands and Islands are not included as mainland UK for delivery purposes. We will check with our carriers prior to delivery and may contact you by email or telephone if further carriage charges are necessary. You will have the opportunity to accept or cancel the order.
Some items, such as Royalex and composite canoes, cannot be sent with a carrier as they may get damaged in transit. In such cases, we will inform you by email or telephone immediately on receipt of your order to make alternative arrangements. This may involve carriage charges which will be agreed prior to delivery. If you collect the goods, any delivery charges will be refunded.
The total delivery charge will be shown at the checkout stage of the ordering process.
We reserve the right to change this delivery charge policy at any time and without notice.
Our aim is that orders received by noon Monday – Friday will be shipped that day.
We send orders by carrier or Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, both of which will require a signature on receipt. If there is nobody available at the delivery address to accept delivery a card will be left to inform the recipient of where the parcel can be collected. It then becomes the recipient's responsibility to collect the parcel. We accept no liability if the delivery is not made due to the recipient not being available. If the recipient fails to collect the parcel in good time the goods will be returned to us and a charge will be made for redelivery to that or an alternative address.
In the event that you select a business address for delivery, we shall be deemed to have delivered the order to its intended recipient by delivering it to the reception area of the business address.

We cannot guarantee that we will accept orders from countries outside of the UK.
If you find the price of one of our products for less elsewhere we will try our best to match it for you. Please ensure you check shipping costs before asking to match our competitors prices. For us to agree to price match the item for you, it must be available in the exact same size and colour you require.
