Best Boating Experience: My first whitewater trip in an Ocoee.  Wet but fun and with good friends.  As I get older, the friendship and company become more important than the river.

Worst Paddling Experience: Getting pinned on Horseshoe falls on the Need Fechan and ending up with my helmet split in two pieces.
Best Boating Experience: Anything with Mograt (Rob Moffat), job done.

Worst Paddling Experience: Dropping my boat in the Mellte when the river was off the gauge.  Then getting a phone call 4 days later saying my boat had been found in 3 pieces.
Best Boating Experience: First Alps trip, the big boys took me under their wing for the hardest boating I had ever done, seven days running.
