The Werner Nantahala is an incredibly smooth paddle, despite the large surface area of the blade, resulting in the perfect balance between power and smoothness of stroke, which is essential for whitewater canoeing. The dihedral, softer symmetrical blade of the Werner Nantahala has greater catchment of water, and creates far smoother forward and reverse paddle strokes. With a fibreglass paddle blade, the Werner Nantahala will stand up to bashes and bumps from rocks, even on whitewater.
The fibreglass construction of both blade and shaft gives the Werner Nantahala great rigidity, meaning that all of the power you put in is transferred to the water, and none to the flex of the paddle. The shaft also has an oval index to give better and more comfortable grip, and so more control of the paddle. The enhanced ABS T-grip has been designed to give you maximum control and greater durability.
NB. This paddle comes uncut, and will therefore need to be cut to your size before use.
