Palm's new Ace Buoyancy aid has been made with the saying that 'Sometimes less is more'. Trimmed down to the essentials‚ the Ace is easy to adjust and smoothly styled. With 60 N of flotation, and our 3D waist to hold it firmly in place, it's ICF accredited for use in slalom competition (not including XXS size)‚ it's just as smooth competing on whitewater as it is cruising around the bay on your SUP.

These PFDs pass ISO 12402-5 (water sports) and ISO 12402-6 (paddlesport) standards. The majority of our PFDs have up to 20% more buoyancy than the ISO/CE standard and our whitewater models have up to 40% more buoyancy than the 50 N required. Palm were the first to make PFDs to these ISO standards.

3D anti ride-up waistbelt
Positioned on the inside of the buoyancy foam panel for full contact around your waist, with a grippy rubber finish it prevents your PFD from riding up.

Free Range Sizing
In the Palm range of kit if you fit a medium jacket, it's likely you will also fit a medium in the rest of their thermals, pants and Personal Floatation Devices (PFDs) – but everyone is different. Nothing beats actually trying on this gear for true size and fit, and also the comfort factor is very important if you are going to be wearing it all day.
Weight – include all the gear you’ll be wearing too. PFD buoyancy label: A correct fit is more important than choosing the buoyancy category according to your weight. All Palm PFDs have buoyancy above the minimum floatation required for CE/ISO certification.
