The small beak keeps water and sun out of your eyes and offers protection. The low volume, neck-hugging OCCIGRIP tensioning system makes for a perfect personalized fit. Finally, the Coolmax liner and the Direct Ventilation makes sure your comfortable. On the inside is the Coolmax liner, an anti-allergic wicking material that keeps you comfortable in a wide range of temperatures and conditions with a front flap which sits across your temples and forehead - offering protection from brain freeze.

The Wanderer is engineered with the durable and super impact resistant ABS SHELL and further strengthened with our CRP SHELL TECHNOLOGY on strategic areas. Every helmet is delivered with a padding kit that consists of several self adhesive pads which are placed between the shock absorbing liner and the stitched comfort liner to get the perfect fit, keeping you comfortable and safe.

Introduced in 2008, the Wanderer is already established as a whitewater classic and a team favourite. It is a great piece of protection equipment for all-round river use.

Please note: Earpads must be purchased separately.

Warning

No helmet can prevent all head injuries or death. This helmet is designed to help protect from bumps, scratches and concussions. This helmet is intended only for canoeing and white water sports. This helmet is not intended for use in white water classes 5 and 6 as given by the International Canoe Federation. It is not designed for motor vehicle use or other sports. Destroy and replace a helmet after impact even though the damage may not be visible. For maximum protection, the helmet must be fitted and adjusted properly to wearer's head per the instructions in the manual.

Our aim is that orders received by noon on weekdays will be despatched that day if the item is in stock. Please note that, other than delivery by Royal Mail, orders will be delivered on weekdays only, excluding Bank Holidays.

Our standard shipping charges are:

For single orders under £50.00 we charge £4.95 for delivery by Royal Mail 2nd Class Tracked Post

For single orders over £50 of small to medium-sized items, delivery is free

Age-verified services will incur an additional £8.95

For single orders of paddles, boats or paddleboards there may be a charge depending on the size of the item and the delivery address. This charge will be shown during checkout. Any charge which is dependant on the delivery address is to reflect additional charges by our carriers.

You may be able to upgrade the delivery service, depending on your order and the delivery address. The options available and their cost will be listed during checkout.

Most large products, such as boats and paddles, are sent by carrier or delivered in our van and will require a signature on receipt. We will contact you prior to despatch to agree the best delivery date. Delivery may be any time between 8am and 6pm.

Sweet Protection Helmet Size Guide

To find the right size, wrap a measuring tape around the head, just above the ears. Try to keep it level front to back. Once you have your measurement, you can use the chart below as a guide. Keep in mind that all Sweet Protection helmets have adjustment systems and are delivered with fit pads to ensure the perfect fit. Obviously there is nothing better than coming into store to try before you buy.
