The Wilderness Tarpon is a perfectly balanced performance sit-on-top kayak that was designed to handle a variety of paddling environments. The revered Tarpon was engineered with a unique hull flare that allows for unparalleled stability and tracking while still maintaining speed and responsive handling. The ergonomically designed Phase 3 AirPro seating system offers quick and easy back and leg support, making the Tarpon the most comfortable sit-on-top kayak on the market.
The phase 3 Airpro seat system takes cues from automobile technology - variable density cushioning and intuitive adjustment, bringing materials together to make a lightweight, ventilated and multi-position seat that can be used all day without discomfort.
Orbix hatch covers have an innovative 'turn and lock' hinged hatch cover makes gear access easy. Latching the cover with a tight seal is just as easy, simply lock in place with the lever. With low profile locking levers, durable rubber gaskets and rubber lip seals. There are tabs on the inside of the rim compatible with new Orbix hatch bins.

You may return an item for refund or exchange up to 30 days after receipt, as long as it hasn't been used or damaged, is still in its original packaging and/or has original labels still attached. Please complete our returns form and send this, together with the item, to the address on the form. Please note that unless the item is faulty or we had supplied the wrong item, you are responsible for the cost of return. Refunds will be made using the same method as the original transaction. If you opt for enhanced shipping, that charge is not refundable.
Custom-made or personalised items are not refundable unless they are defective.

For the original retail purchaser (consumer), Wilderness Systems kayaks provide a three (3) year warranty against material or manufacturing defects in the hull and deck. Parts, accessories, and outfitting are warrantied for a period of one (1) year against material or manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.
